Fall 2006 Special ElectionAPS held a special election in September 2006 in which the voters approved $350 Million in supplemental GO Bonds to address growth on the west side of Albuquerque and other critical capital needs throughout the district. The $350 Million is funding two new high schools, and new middle school and a new elementary school on Albuquerque's west side along with a variety of additions, renovations, roofing and education support projects throughout the district.
